The sisters of the Roanoke Valley Church will welcome Alanna Lund to the fellowship with a brunch to be held at Diane Smith’s house. Parking is very limited, so Diane is asking everyone to carpool as much as possible. She says that you can park at the Valley Bank in Vinton and carpool from there.
The Roanoke Valley Church will meet for Sunday service at Walrond Park in Hollins. There will be a cookout, picnic, and other activities immediately following the service.
Disciples from the Roanoke Valley Church camped at Claytor Lake State Park in Virginia over the Memorial Day weekend. Food, and fellowship around camp fires was a little bit of heaven.
The annual Memorial Day camping trip for 2014 was a great time for all who came out.
