I Double Dare You – 1Thes 2:1-12

Are we really loving people or are we only showing love on our terms, when we are ready to show love?  This lesson from 1 Thessalonians chapter 2 examines how Paul expressed his love for his brothers and sisters in the church.  It calls us to love deeply and love now.  After all, what good is love for others if we never express it.  As the Roanoke Valley Church strives toward building “Faithful Family” we are challenged to care how God cares.

  1. Wow! That lesson was so convicting. One point that challenged me came from John 3:30. I think it can be so easy for me have a comfort zone when it comes to giving and not be willing to be that “trampoline” to help someone else grow closer to God and who He wants that person to be. I also love the reminder that in order to care how God wants us to care, we must care about God first. Thanks for posting!
